If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Southfields, make sure to stop by Salt & Pepper, a delightful café located at 177 Replingham Rd, London. This unique gem stands as a testament to the power of home-cooked food and the warmth of its owners, John and Sue, who infuse each dish with care and creativity.

Stepping inside Salt & Pepper is like entering a cozy embrace. The bright and inviting atmosphere—remnants of the personal touch of a couple who truly cares about their customers—sets the stage for a comforting experience that’s hard to forget.

Salt & Pepper is more than just a café; it’s a celebration of simplicity and natural flavors. The menu features an array of mouth-watering options, including thoughtfully crafted sandwiches, hearty soups, and delectable lunch boxes. The highlight of the menu, as mentioned by local patrons, is the exquisite fusion of ingredients in dishes like the chicken, chorizo, and vegetable box, beautifully presented to please both the eyes and the palate.

But the culinary delights don’t stop there! Their homemade jams and chutneys—crafted from local produce—add an extraordinary touch that elevates the experience of every meal. Imagine savoring fresh bread slathered with sweet, tangy jam, complementing the natural flavors of the food. As one satisfied customer, Gabby Chen, noted, “The food here is so simple but fabulous,” and it’s clear from the rave reviews that this café has struck a chord in the hearts of many.

Salt & Pepper also serves as a go-to spot for those special celebrations. Emma Newton shares that the catering for her children’s christening was a hit, with guests commenting on the superior quality that set it apart from typical offerings. It’s a testament to the culinary craftsmanship that John and Sue push to the forefront.

Don’t miss the chance to indulge in their phenomenal homemade brownies—Tim Keates promises that they’re amazing, just as the artistic flair of their presentations. These desserts, alongside the friendly service from the couple who runs the café, create a lasting impression that leaves visitors eager to return.

Whether you’re sipping coffee in the cozy seating area or browsing through a fridge stocked with homegrown jams, Salt & Pepper is an inviting retreat to enjoy a delicious meal of local produce. As Alexander Sarafian mentions, it's a joy to see local businesses like this one thriving despite challenging times.

So, the next time you’re in the area, consider pivoting from the usual and visiting this enchanting little café. With its simple yet delightful offerings and a charm that feels like home, Salt & Pepper is truly a must-visit destination in Southfields!

I really love the food, the cake, and the atmosphere here. So relaxing, and food here is so simple but fabulous. Kind of enhance the natural flavor of the fresh food by simply adding their home made jam. You definitely shouldn't miss it if pass by.

Incredible little place! Serves sandwiches, soups, lunch boxes and some breakfast bits. Also has a great fridge full of homegrown jams and chutneys. Popped in for lunch today and had a great box of chicken, chorizo and vegetables. Very friendly too. Will definitely be back!

We used S&P to cater a buffet for our children’s christening and the food was absolutely super. Everyone immediately knew it was catered because it was so infinitely better than anything I could have produced thank you to Sue and team.

A bright and cosy café, run by a lovely couple. I'm happy to see them still going, after what's been an extremely difficult year for local businesses in Southfields. Everything is made fresh and grown from their local allotment. I bought one of their homemade jams earlier in the year, which was fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area, but just make sure you aren't in a rush - Because they are so friendly and hospitable, it's very easy to hang around and let the time go!

We had a mass of Turkey, roast potatoes and gravy delivered to the office for our office Christmas Party and it was delicious. I'm not even a fan of Turkey but I had seconds! How they managed to produce such a huge amount and not scrimp on quality is amazing. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Sue and John!
